Oxford County celebrates Pride Month in June

Oxford County supports Pride Month and is committed to building inclusive, diverse, and safe spaces for all. Oxford County Pride and Warden Marcus Ryan invite the community to join them in raising the Pride flag for Pride Month:

Oxford County’s 2025 Pride Month activities include the following.

• Pride displays at Oxford County Library: The Ingersoll Branch Library will celebrate Pride throughout June, with displays, craft kits and buttons. The Tillsonburg Branch Library will have a Pride Craft Kit available in June. The kit includes supplies for a Pride-themed wreath.
  
  
• Saturday, June 7 - Pride Rainbow Storytime: Oxford County Pride is hosting a 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusive Pride Rainbow Storytime in partnership with Oxford County Library and Woodstock Public Library. Join Ms. Rubyyy at the Early Bird Café in Woodstock at 375 Dundas Street from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025. • Saturday, June 14 – Oxford County Pride’s Family Day: Oxford County Library will have a booth set up at the Oxford County Pride Family Day. Celebrate 10 years of Pride at Museum Square in Woodstock, on Saturday, June 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. More.
  
  
• Saturday, June 21 – Pride Storytime at Oxford County Library, Tillsonburg branch: Celebrate Pride Month at the Tillsonburg Branch Library. This staff-led, interactive Storytime at 10:00 a.m. is an inclusive event for the whole family. No registration is required.
  
  
• Oxford County Archives: Follow the Oxford County Facebook page and the Oxford County Archives Instagram page this June for posts dedicated to the history of Pride and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Oxford County.
  
  
• Rainbow Registered: Tourism Oxford, a Rainbow Registered Certified organization, continues to help local businesses attain this nationally accredited 2SLGBTQI+ friendly designation.
  
  

The Safe and Well Oxford DEI Action Coalition also carries information about Pride events here. The Coalition supports Oxford County and area municipalities in establishing organizational cultures and communities that are safe, welcoming, and accessible for all citizens.
